This design has been made initially for domestic purpose  but after testing and evaluation We will hopefully work on Industrial Scale model.

Construction:

The Water Desalination Plant consists of a concave mirror as its power source  and is placed on a stand which is moveable, to adjust with the position of the sun, there is a Container in the left most side in the picture which is the source of Brackish water and the water travels from this container to the Flask placed right above the Concave Mirror, The water is heated as the Sun rays are focused on the bottom of this flask and it gets evaporated once temperature reaches a standard value of 100°C. The vapors then travel through the coiled tube where almost all of the condensation occurs and then the condensed water is collected in another container. This figure below shows the plan for Water Desalination Plant.

Working:

The Brackish water travels from the main container (on leftmost side shown in fig 1 ), the flow of water is controlled by a valve and the water rests in the Flask which has the capacity of about two Liters and is right above the Mirror, as explained before in the First Heading the water receives the energy required to evaporate it through the mirror (in the form of concentrated solar rays) and it changes form from liquid to vapors which then travel from The Flask to the collecting Container through a coil system which is used to condense the water vapors. The water can now be used for drinking purposes.

Conclusion:
The Water Desalination Plant has a capacity of converting two liters of the Brackish water into pure drinkable form in just One Hour. It is Economical and Environmental friendly aswell.

Industrial Design is in my heart
